Great customer service from the moment I called for a quote to the transporting of the goods from one place to the other, was kept informed throughout the day as to when they woud be arriving, didn't realise they were based in London as they came all the way to Southampton to get the job done. Would recomend.

Finally a company in London who understands that looking after customers and even going the extra mile to help them is a much better business plan than just jumping at every opportunity to rip them off, something way too frequent in the vehicle hire business. These guys take their job seriously, and genuinely want you to come back. I've been using their van rental service almost every week for about four months now, and I don't even have a shadow of complain. Great guys, great service !

I originally wanted to use Advantage Self Drive's van hire service as I needed to move furniture from one end of town to the other. Being a local company, they sounded ideal. After speaking with them on the phone and explaining the items I needed to move, I was given two options: 1. Hire a van. 2. Use their 'Man and Van' service. They estimated the 'Man and Van' service would take one journey and two hours to load and unload. This was looking more and more favourable so I decided to pay the little extra for this. (After all, it also meant no I.D. and deposit formalities + time and fuel to pick the van up & drop off + fuel for the van). On the day I was pleasantly surprised that two of them had turned up. After assessing all the items, they made a plan on how to load the items and it worked. It's worth noting they take care not to damage property or the items and don't just throw them in without a care. They made the extra effort of taking heavier items up a flight of stairs for us The estimated time of 2 hours was near perfect. It would have been a lot longer had we simply hired a van from them. It may not be rocket science, but, there is definitely a technique to load avan and they proved that! I found them competitively priced, friendly and definitely made the extra effort to help. Rather strange comments from other reviewers about them being 'fake' and 'dodgy'. They have a shop in Hayes that I have visited. Up until a few days before my booking I was on their system as just hiring a van. Not once was I asked for credit card details to reserve the van. In fact, all the negative comments appear to be 'fake' and 'dodgy' as they have a similar format in writing style!

The guys at Advantage self drive were FANTASTIC! Reliable, honest and fantastic value for money! Most importantly they worked extremely hard (on the hottest September day for years!) taking the entire contents of my flat two stories down and then two stories up to my new place. I have never thought to write a review and recomend any company before but was that impressed I felt I owed it to the team! The odd negative comment is completely off the line... believe the hype! Thank You guys!
